USED BAYONET M1853 BRITISH ENFIELD

Description

Original British M1853 socket bayonet for the M1853 rifled musket (Also fits the Snider 3-band). Not British government marked, possibly indicating it was sent to the US during the Civil War. Blade has been wire brushed and there is some pitting. Socket is marked “31” over “365”. No scabbard.
